Sarà un’estate piena di musica quella che si avvia a vivere la città di Rimini. Tante saranno le occasioni per divertirsi ascoltando i vostri artisti preferiti. E dalla città regina delle vacanze estive passeranno davvero i più grandi big della canzone italiana. Non per niente, farà tappa in riva all’Adriatico l’RDS Summer Festival per il gran finale. Il viaggio musicale itinerante della notissima emittente radiofonica porterà sui palchi delle località italiane gli artisti più amati del momento con sei tappe in sei diverse città. La “finalissima”, appunto, si terrà in piazzale Fellini a Rimini il 26 e 27 luglio. Piazzale Fellini si trova a Marina centro e dal nostro hotel può essere facilmente raggiunto anche con il bus numero 11; con il metromare o anche in bicicletta, se si vuole godere di un po’ di brezza estiva.
Volete ascoltare Angelina Mango dal vivo?
Quali saranno gli artisti presenti? Un nome è già sicuro, ed è quello, prestigiosissimo, di Angelina Mango. Tutti ormai la conoscono. La figlia del noto cantautore Mango, scomparso prematuramente, nel febbraio di quest’anno ha partecipato alla 74esima edizione del Festival di Sanremo, vincendola con il brano “La Noia” e aggiudicandosi il Premio Lucio Dalla assegnato dalla Sala Stampa e il Premio Giancarlo Bigazzi, assegnato dall’orchestra, per la migliore composizione musicale. Erano dieci anni che una cantante non vinceva più il Festival. L’ultima a riuscirci era stata Arisa dieci anni fa. La vittoria a Sanremo l’ha portata a partecipare all’Eurovision Song Contest tenutosi nel mese di maggio a Malmoe in Svezia. In quest’occasione ha colto un ottimo settimo posto.
E Noemi, Elodie, Emma, Alessandra Amoroso?

Il ritorno di Gigi D’Agostino alla Beach Arena
Ma non è finita qui perché se vi piace la musica che vi fa ballare alla grande, allora c’è un’altra sorpresa per voi. Sempre il 27 luglio, il palco della Beach Arena di Rimini ospiterà il grande ritorno di uno dei più importanti dj italiani di sempre: Gigi D’Agostino. Il “Capitano”, come viene chiamato dai suoi fan, è stato lontano dalle scene a lungo. Nel 2017 gravi problemi di salute l’hanno obbligato a sottoporsi a numerose terapie che l’hanno tenuto lontano dalla musica fino a tutto il 2022. I primi piccoli miglioramenti sono arrivati nel 2023 quando è tornato con un nuovo album dal titolo Slowerland III, pubblicato sotto lo pseudonimo di Lento Violento. A seguito del progressivo miglioramento delle sue condizioni di salute è tornato a esibirsi pubblicamente il 9 febbraio 2024 in qualità di ospite della quarta serata della Festival di Sanremo in collegamento dalla nave Costa Smeralda, proponendo alla console un mix dei suoi più grandi successi. Ma l’appuntamento riminese è un’altra cosa: si tratta di una vera e propria lunga esibizione; un concerto che sancisce la ritrovata salute di questo “big” della musica dance e il suo nuovo abbraccio a tutti i suoi fan.
Un’estate di musica per tutti i gusti
Come molti dei nostri ospiti sanno, la Beach Arena si trova a poche centinaia di metri dall’hotel Bing e si può comodamente raggiungere a piedi. Insomma, le serate del 26 e 27 luglio a Rimini vanno a “tutta musica” e chi ama le sette note potrà scegliere se raggiungere il palco dell’RDS Summer Festival per cantare o la Beach Arena per ballare. Rimini is gearing up for a summer filled with music. There will be plenty of opportunities to have fun while listening to your favorite artists. The city, a top summer vacation destination, will host some of the biggest names in Italian music. Notably, the RDS Summer Festival will make a stop by the Adriatic Sea for its grand finale. The famous radio station’s traveling musical journey will bring the most beloved artists of the moment to stages in six different cities. The final event will take place at Piazzale Fellini in Rimini on July 26th and 27th. Piazzale Fellini is located in Marina Centro and can be easily reached from our hotel by bus number 11, Metromare, or even by bicycle if you want to enjoy some summer breeze.

Who will be performing? One confirmed name is the prestigious Angelina Mango. By now, everyone knows her. The daughter of the well-known singer-songwriter Mango, who passed away prematurely, participated in the 74th edition of the Sanremo Festival in February this year, winning it with the song “La Noia” and earning the Lucio Dalla Award from the press and the Giancarlo Bigazzi Award from the orchestra for the best musical composition. It had been ten years since a female singer last won the festival, with Arisa being the last to achieve this a decade ago. Winning Sanremo led her to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest held in May in Malmo, Sweden, where she secured an excellent seventh place.

The Return of Gigi D’Agostino at the Beach Arena
But that’s not all because if you love music that makes you dance, there’s another surprise for you. Also on July 27th, the stage at Rimini’s Beach Arena will host the grand return of one of the most important Italian DJs ever: Gigi D’Agostino. The “Captain,” as his fans call him, has been away from the scene for a long time. In 2017, serious health problems forced him to undergo numerous therapies that kept him away from music until the end of 2022. The first small improvements came in 2023 when he returned with a new album titled “Slowerland III,” released under the pseudonym Lento Violento. Following the gradual improvement of his health, he made a public appearance on February 9, 2024, as a guest during the fourth night of the Sanremo Festival, performing a mix of his greatest hits from the Costa Smeralda ship. But the Rimini event is something else: it is a full-length performance; a concert marking the regained health of this dance music “big” and his renewed embrace with all his fans.
