Se nell’articolo precedente del nostro blog vi abbiamo proposto una passeggiata culturale nel centro storico di Rimini, adesso vogliamo proporvi la stessa cosa per un veloce ma interessante tour che potrete effettuare passeggiando per Riccione. La “Perla Verde” dell’Adriatico è facilmente raggiungibile dal nostro hotel utilizzando il metromare (la cui stazione più vicina dista poche centinaia di metri dal Bing) oppure il bus numero 11 (ma ci mette molto più tempo), oppure utilizzando delle biciclette. Ma cosa troveremmo d’interessante a Riccione, a parte la spiaggia?
Riccione: da viale Ceccarini a Villa Lodi Fè
Il nostro tour non può che iniziare nel vivace Viale Ceccarini, il cuore pulsante di Riccione. Questo viale elegante è fiancheggiato da negozi di moda, caffè e ristoranti e offre una combinazione perfetta di shopping e relax. Passeggiando lungo Viale Ceccarini, si può respirare l’atmosfera frizzante che caratterizza questa città, tra locali trendy e boutique di lusso. Proseguendo, possiamo dirigerci verso Villa Franceschi, una delle più belle dimore storiche della città. Costruita all’inizio del XX secolo, la villa è un esempio perfetto di architettura liberty e, con i suoi dettagli decorativi e il suo giardino curato, è una vera opera d’arte. Non lontano si trova Villa Lodi Fè, un altro gioiello architettonico. Costruita nel 1920, questa rappresenta uno stile eclettico con influenze neoclassiche. È circondata da un vasto parco che offre un’oasi di tranquillità nel cuore della città. La villa ospita eventi culturali e mostre che la rendono un centro vibrante per la cultura locale.
La Biblioteca e il Museo del Territorio
Proseguendo la nostra passeggiata, raggiungiamo il Palazzo del Turismo, un edificio moderno che funge da punto di riferimento per turisti e cittadini. Qui si trovano uffici informativi, sale per conferenze e spazi per mostre temporanee. È il luogo ideale per raccogliere informazioni sugli eventi e le attrazioni di Riccione.
Alla fine di viale Ceccarini, dirigendosi verso monte, ci troveremo nel borgo di Riccione Paese, caratteristico per i tanti piccoli negozi che si affacciano sul viale principale. Lì, in via Lazio, troviamo la Biblioteca Comunale, un moderno centro culturale che offre una vasta selezione di libri, riviste e risorse multimediali. La biblioteca è un punto d’incontro per appassionati di lettura e cultura, con spazi dedicati a bambini, ragazzi e adulti. Situato nei pressi della biblioteca, c’è il Museo del Territorio. Questo offre un viaggio attraverso la storia e le tradizioni di Riccione, con esposizioni che spaziano dall’archeologia alla storia contemporanea. Le collezioni includono reperti preistorici, romani e medievali, offrendo una panoramica completa del ricco patrimonio della città.
Il Castello degli Agolanti
La nostra ultima tappa è il maestoso Castello degli Agolanti, situato su una collina che domina la città. Questo castello risale al XIII secolo ed è stato una residenza nobiliare per secoli. Oggi è un importante centro culturale che ospita mostre, concerti e altri eventi. Il castello offre anche una vista panoramica spettacolare sulla città e sul mare, rendendolo il luogo ideale per concludere la nostra passeggiata.

If in the previous article on our blog we suggested a cultural stroll through the historic center of Rimini, now we want to propose the same thing for a quick but interesting tour you can take while walking through Riccione. The “Green Pearl” of the Adriatic is easily reachable from our hotel using the Metromare (the nearest station is just a few hundred meters from Bing) or bus number 11 (although it takes much longer), or by using bicycles. But what interesting things can we find in Riccione, apart from the beach?
Riccione: from Viale Ceccarini to Villa Lodi Fè
Our tour can only start on the lively Viale Ceccarini, the pulsating heart of Riccione. This elegant avenue is lined with fashion shops, cafes, and restaurants, offering a perfect combination of shopping and relaxation. Walking along Viale Ceccarini, you can feel the vibrant atmosphere that characterizes this city, among trendy locales and luxury boutiques. Continuing, we can head towards Villa Franceschi, one of the most beautiful historic residences in the city. Built at the beginning of the 20th century, the villa is a perfect example of Art Nouveau architecture, with its decorative details and well-kept garden, making it a true work of art. Not far away is Villa Lodi Fè, another architectural gem. Built in 1920, it represents an eclectic style with neoclassical influences. It is surrounded by a vast park that offers an oasis of tranquility in the heart of the city. The villa hosts cultural events and exhibitions, making it a vibrant center for local culture.
The Library and the Museum of the Territory
Continuing our walk, we reach the Palazzo del Turismo, a modern building that serves as a point of reference for tourists and citizens. Here you can find information offices, conference rooms, and spaces for temporary exhibitions. It is the ideal place to gather information about events and attractions in Riccione. At the end of Viale Ceccarini, heading towards the inland, we find ourselves in the Riccione Paese village, characteristic for its many small shops that face the main avenue. There, on Via Lazio, we find the Municipal Library, a modern cultural center offering a vast selection of books, magazines, and multimedia resources. The library is a meeting point for reading and culture enthusiasts, with spaces dedicated to children, teenagers, and adults. Located near the library is the Museum of the Territory. This offers a journey through the history and traditions of Riccione, with exhibitions ranging from archaeology to contemporary history. The collections include prehistoric, Roman, and medieval artifacts, providing a comprehensive overview of the city’s rich heritage.
The Agolanti Castle
Our last stop is the majestic Agolanti Castle, situated on a hill overlooking the city. This castle dates back to the 13th century and has been a noble residence for centuries. Today it is an important cultural center hosting exhibitions, concerts, and other events. The castle also offers a spectacular panoramic view of the city and the sea, making it the ideal place to conclude our walk.
